Access is tied to verified school membership. Membership connects parents and school staff to the schools, classes, and grades they are authorized to access.

Administrative access in one school does not carry over to another. A School Administrator in one building does not gain visibility into a different school's members, events, messages, or collections.

Each role carries permissions matched to its responsibilities:

• Parents can view their school's information, sign up for volunteer slots, contribute to collections, and manage their own profile and privacy settings.
• Teachers can view and participate in the class and grade information relevant to their classroom.
• Class Administrators (such as room parents) can coordinate events, volunteer slots, collections, and communication for their assigned class or grade.
• School Administrators can manage members, roles, classes, and school-wide settings within their school.

Access rules are enforced at the data layer — not only within the screens and buttons users see.

This adds another layer of protection, helping ensure requests for information are evaluated for authorization regardless of how they're made.

Users can manage their own chat messages. Authorized School Administrators can moderate messages within their school.

Direct messages use separate access controls, limited to authorized participants.

When an account is deleted through our administrative process, the process is designed to remove associated user records across applicable Room Parent Pro data — including membership records, messages, sign-ups, and other information tied to that user.

This process is administered by Room Parent Pro and is intended to clean up the user's associated data across the applicable areas of the application.

Authorization, school isolation, administrative operations, and messaging permissions are reviewed as Room Parent Pro evolves.

As new features are introduced, access controls and permission structures are revisited to keep reflecting the needs of school communities.
